The base consists of a 165w professional quality heating element, encapsulated in a thick foil to ensure even heat distribution. A polystyrene base layer reduces heat losss.

A high accuracy thermostat ensures the seedlings are kept at an optimal temperature. An aluminium framed lift top cover uses twin wall polycarbonate to keep the heat in whilst allowing diffused light to enter.
