Access Garden :: GARDEN PRODUCTS :: Garden Watering :: Borders
There are two main ways of watering border areas - Mini sprinklers and drip pipe. Mini-sprinklers are easy to set up, especially on beds with established planting, and they look good when they are working. On the downside they use more water at a time, so normally only one kit can be run from the tap at a time. For very densely packed borders the spray from the nozzles also tends to be curtailed. Drip line is more water efficient - allowing larger areas to be watered at a time, and if laid under a mulch is completey invisible - even when operating. All kits contain quality commercial grade components.
