Small Greenhouse
With gardens getting ever smaller, many people only have room for a very small greenhouse. Access Garden Products pioneered the small greenhouse concept in the early 1980's, launching an innovative small greenhouse at the Chelsea Flower Show. An instant hit with gardeners, the small greenhouse range is still manufactured in our factory in the village of Crick, Northamptonshire. Although only a small greenhouse, the units have a reputation for versatility and durability and are used by leading gardening societies such as the Alpine Garden Society and the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS).
As you would expect, the small greenhouse is very compact, but makes the most of the space available by incorporating an adjustable shelving system. A unique feature of the Access small greenhouse range is the sliding glass door arrangement. This provides the small greenhouse with excellent ventilation. This feature also allows all plants in the small greenhouse to be accessed from the outside, ensuring all of the area under glass can be used for growing.
Although the greenhouse is small, it is very sturdily constructed using architectural aluminium and toughened safety glass for durability and safety. The small greenhouse range is available in an extensive range of sizes. With some models only 21" (0.53m) deep a small lean-to greenhouse can be fitted into a passageway or confined space. A small, but freestanding greenhouse is designed to be placed anywhere in the garden.
A small greenhouse can be used in the same way as a full sized greenhouse. They are very popular for over-wintering plants and bringing on seedlings and cuttings. A small greenhouse can also be used for protected Summer crops such as Tomatoes, Peppers and Melons.
