The City Growhouse is designed to stand on a small patio or even a balcony. At just 2’ 8” (0.8m) long, it’s compact design will allow it to fit in even the smallest urban or city garden.
The sliding doors provide easy access into the City Growhouse and allow infinitely variable ventilation – just an inch or so in the early spring to wide open in the summer. In addition, the roof panels slide open for superb summer ventilation.
Aluminium structure with 25 year framework guarantee and stainless steel fixings – designed to last a lifetime! Ground fixings included.
The 4mm toughened safety glass provides excellent light transmission and traps early spring heat much better than plastic sheets, and unlike plastic will not go milky with age. The glass will not flex in strong winds or under snow loads.
The City Growhouse includes 1 narrow and 1 deep seed tray shelf, which can be adjusted for height and can be removed or dropped flat when not required in summer. Strong but slim aluminium bars reduce shading of the plants below. The toughened glass centre staging lets light down to the lower level and is rated to 25kg per sheet. One or both of the two staging sheets can be removed in summer for taller crops.
The mist watering system will water the top and bottom layers of the Growhouse and has fine nozzles suitable for delicate seedlings. Connects to the hose with a standard hose fitting.
As an option, the framework can be Colour Coated.
Optional extras include an automatic louvre vent, shading for sunny locations and shelf covers for smaller pots.
Delivery to mainland England, Wales and southern Scotland included. Self-assembly with comprehensive instructions.

We were introduced to the City Greenhouse on the Garden Products stand at the RHS Malvern Spring show 2022.
It appeared well built, with flexibility and just the size we were looking for the purpose of growing on seeds and cuttings, and if required growing a few tomatoes or overwintering a few delicate plants, in a small space.
The gentleman on the stand was very helpful and not at all pushy, and we went home to check measurements.
The telephone ordering process was easy and the company was helpful in agreeing to delay shipment until we returned from holiday.
Putting the greenhouse was a two person job, requiring patience and lucky we were able to do it indoors on a carpet to avoid scratching the coating or losing any of the nuts and bolts which you will drop.
We followed the instructions largely to the letter although in a few instances changed the order of doing things to make things easier in our mind.
The biggest questions we had were why the runner liners hadn’t been pre installed / why you weren’t guided to fit them prior to construction when it would have been less fiddly, and why the back glass panels didn’t have greater support at the top to stop them falling out, which we overcame by re purposing some brackets which can be seen in the photos.
Once the frame was completed we took it outside to install the glass and the finished greenhouse is very sturdy, although the metal coating is prone to easy scratching.
I built a movable wooden base on wheels to which it is attached, to offer further flexibility in location and cleaning paving.
It had fully met expectations and we have proudly shown it to family and visitors.
